My life really isn’t that interesting, I'm just a normal witch doing her bit for the resistance … okay, wait, that actually sounds as if I’m interesting. I guess it could look like I actually have a pretty interesting life, if I stop to think about it. But I don’t think of it in that way, uh … ever.

Mostly I’m about getting things done. The world isn’t exactly a pretty place right now, but I’d rather be doing my part to fight it than pretending it’s not happening, or hiding away like some cowardly little snake. Unfortunately, now people know just how involved my family and I are in the resistance against Voldemort and his Death Eaters. (This had nothing to do with me. Really. All I did was try to steal a tiny little sword! And I didn’t even get the bloody thing.)

So we’ve had to go into hiding. I won’t say where we are, obviously. But we’re in hiding. Like cowardly little snakes. (My mother, at least, is thrilled I have to be here. Even if she does get sick of me arguing my right to join the Order and not just think up passwords for Potterwatch.)

But you can bet, the minute I get the call ... erm, from anywhere ... I will be the first one there, wand out.

It’s killing me, not being able to do anything. I feel like my time is spent sitting on my bed, waiting for news. Waiting for it to end. Waiting for … something. Someone.

Oh, bollocks, let’s be honest. More than anything, I’m waiting for Harry to come home. Would I ever say this to anyone but him? Or even him? Probably not.

But that doesn’t make it any less true. And the only reason I'm not with him is I know he would end up concentrating on my safety instead of his own. Always everyone else before him. And Merlin knows the noble bloody idiot will let this mission of his come before everything, including keeping himself alive and unharmed. Of course, considering, he really doesn't have much choice, I can see that, but ...

*sigh* The stupid prat.





Ginny is 16 years old with bright brown eyes and red hair. She’s a witch, and a talented one at that, so don’t underestimate her or get on her wrong side. You don’t want great disgusting wings flapping about your face for the rest of the day.

Tiny in body but big on spirit, she's just as likely to comfort you as curse you, depending on your actions and what she thinks of them. Ginny is stubborn, practically fearless, and as sneaky as she needs to be to get what she wants. Growing up with as many brothers as she has can do that to a person.

This Ginny is a during-Deathly Hallows Ginny, she’s just gone into hiding with the rest of her family and she’s scared, lonely, and anxious. Oh, yeah. And feeling a little bored out of her mind.
